Nearly done with the portal page adjustments!
Still left to do:

The top left navigation menu, change all the links!
On each theme verify and alter the header/logo area's specifically the phpbb3 default themes and the Darkfantasy theme, will be removing the "blue" bar accross the top totally on the Darkfantasy theme and building up a logo/menu area. Maxthon can probably be left as is that is one clean/sexy theme all on it's own the way...

Got the portal back in place still merging the changes into new themes once done will re-add the old blocks and things should be back to normal.. Thanks in advance and sorry for any inconveniences!
